Mitzvah Projects in South Florida: Jewish Values in Action

Jewish Values in Action

At Neshamah, Judaism comes to life through mitzvot, real actions that make our world a better place.

At Neshamah, our mitzvah projects in South Florida put Jewish values into action in the most tangible way possible. Rabbi Amy leads regular hands-on volunteer opportunities that address real needs in our community: fighting hunger and homelessness, caring for the environment and animals, supporting local organizations, and more. We call it “Planting Mitzvot, Growing a Better World,” because these are ongoing mitzvah projects that create lasting impact while connecting you with people who share your values. Families with kids, retirees, interfaith couples, lifelong volunteers, and people just beginning to explore Judaism are all welcome. Neshamah volunteers throughout Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Coconut Creek, and Parkland, and with partner organizations in Israel.

Let’s plant mitzvot and grow our community together through meaningful mitzvah projects.

Fall Mitzvah Fair

Deliver fresh Thanksgiving food to seniors, pack Thanksgiving supplies for homeless families, decorate Houses for Change, and other mitzvot to support local families in need. This is one of our most impactful mitzvah projects in South Florida, and a wonderful way for families to give back together.
