A Note from Rabbi Amy

I became a rabbi because I believe every Jewish life is worth honoring. Every family deserves a ceremony that truly reflects who they are. Every milestone, from a child’s first Torah reading to a couple standing under the chuppah, deserves to be remembered.
This is the space where I share those stories. The weddings that moved me. The B’nai Mitzvah that surprised me. The holiday celebrations that reminded me why I chose this work. I hope what you read here helps you see yourself in our community and maybe your story appears here someday too. These are the Jewish stories that inspire everything we do at Neshamah.
– Rabbi Amy Rader

Engaging Education at Neshamah: Jewish learning starts with a question, not an answer. From Hebrew school to B’nai Mitzvah to adult study, we believe the goal isn’t to memorize Judaism,  it’s to fall in love with it. To become the kind of person who keeps asking, keeps reading, keeps wrestling with the tradition for the rest of your life. These are stories from that journey.
