What We Explore in Each Online Torah Study Session

In Summer Torah Study, we go beneath the surface of the text to find the spiritual lessons of the Weekly Parshah.

Each class draws on the richness of Jewish tradition, weaving together:

The Weekly Parshah as our anchor and starting point

The teachings of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks (Covenant and Conversation), whose gift was finding the universal human truth inside every Torah story

The Lubavitcher Rebbe’s teachings, which pull the inner, spiritual dimension of the text to the surface and ask us to bring it into our daily lives

The Mussar tradition, the Jewish path of character refinement, which helps us name the middah each parshah is calling us to work on

You don’t need to know Hebrew. You don’t need to have studied Torah before. All you need is a willingness to show up with an open mind.
