Donate to The Neshamah Institute

Your generosity allows the Neshamah Institute to continue our mission of providing soulful, inclusive, and barrier-free Jewish experiences. Unlike traditional models, we do not rely on mandatory membership dues or building funds. Instead, we rely on the heart and support of our community to keep our programs thriving for everyone in South Florida.

General Donation

Neshamah was built on a simple but radical idea: that everyone deserves a Jewish home, no matter who they are, where they come from, or what they can afford.

We operate without membership dues because we believe belonging should never come with a price tag. That means we depend on the generosity of our community to sustain everything we do.

We are grateful for every gift, at every level. Thank you for being part of what makes Neshamah possible.

Donna Leviton z"l Shabbat Dinner Fund

This fund is named in memory of Donna Leviton z"l (Rabbi Amy's mom), who understood better than almost anyone the power of a Shabbat table to bring people together.

The Donna Leviton Shabbat Dinner Fund carries that spirit forward. It underwrites our monthly community Shabbat dinner, ensuring that no one is ever turned away. Some congregants are able to make the suggested Shabbat donation; this fund is here for those who cannot.

We invite you to give to this fund in honor of Donna's memory and to ensure that every month, every person who walks through our doors experiences the warmth of a true Shabbat.

Shabbat Sponsorship

It is traditional to give tzedakah in honor of the important events in our lives.  Baby namings, B’nai Mitzvah, Weddings, Anniversaries, Yarzheits and the passing of loved ones are all occasions to support our Jewish community.

All donations are appreciated.  Usual Shabbat Sponsorships are $180, $360, $500.

If you’d like to sponsor an upcoming Shabbat, please make your donation and add your details here.

Sandra Solomon z"l Education Fund

This fund is named in memory of Sandy Solomon z"l, a lifelong educator who gave herself fully to the act of teaching  in classrooms, in the community, and as a mentor and role model to the younger teachers she inspired along the way.

The Sandy Solomon Jewish Education Fund carries that commitment forward. Neshamah is proud of our excellent staff and our personalized approach to Jewish learning. This fund provides scholarship assistance to families who need it, making sure that every child who wants to be part of our program has a place in it.

The Impact of Your Gift When you donate to the Neshamah Institute, you are directly funding the future of Jewish life in our community. Your contributions support:

  • Inclusive Education: Helping us provide our experiential Hebrew School and Hands-On Holidays programs to children in Delray Beach and Boca Raton.

  • Spiritual Gatherings: Keeping beloved events like Beach Shabbat and our High Holy Day services open and accessible to all seekers.

  • Rabbinic Support: Ensuring Rabbi Amy Rader and our musical team can continue to provide lifecycle events, pastoral care, and modern spiritual leadership.

  • No-Barrier Access: Removing the financial obstacles that often prevent families from engaging with Jewish tradition and community.

Ways to Give We welcome one-time donations, recurring monthly gifts, and tribute donations in honor or memory of a loved one. Every gift, regardless of size, helps us maintain our vibrant community without the dues of a traditional synagogue.
