The Soulmates are volunteer Jewish musicians who bring spirit and warmth to Neshamah’s congregational services. Our talented Musical Director, Sharon Shear, leads adult and youth musicians from our congregation at each Shabbat service.

Sharon Shear has been teaching music instruction privately, and leading our Jewish community in prayer and celebration since her move to Boca Raton, FL in 2001. Along with private instruction in guitar, ukelele and piano, Sharon is the Musical Director of The Neshamah Institute, a Jewish synagogue without walls formed in 2010 to serve our S. Florida Jewish communities primarily here in Boca Raton and Delray Beach. Along with Rabbi Amy Rader, Sharon leads services by providing the musical direction, choir leadership and compositions for songs and prayers used to celebrate Shabbat on Friday nights as well as Bar and Bat Mitzvah simchas during Saturday morning services.
