Teen Leadership Council
Teen Leadership Council
Teens learn to connect, give back and grow with Neshamah’s innovative Teen Leadership Council. Our students will create new social connections, teach in our school community and explore what it means to be a responsible, caring teen in the modern world. Teen Leadership includes several components:
COUNCIL
Monthly on Sundays, teens will gather to discuss modern issues including friendships, peer pressure, social media, technology, dating, accepting peers who are different and other student driven topics
MITZVOT
Teens will organize and implement several mitzvah projects throughout the year.
BBYO
Neshamah teens are invited to take part in our local BBYO chapters which meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at the JCC. For more information visit: bbyo.org
MADRIKHIM
Neshamah offers qualified teens a paid job as teachers (madrikhim) in our school. Teens can earn community service hours or hourly pay by committing to a regular schedule of teaching in the school.
